Funding Opportunity RFA-HD-24-002 from the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts. The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is to support and facilitate multidisciplinary research approaches for the development of novel nonsteroidal contraceptive products for men and women that act prior to fertilization. This FOA aims to position innovative and validated methods for future clinical development.

Funding Opportunity RFA-OD-22-028 from the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts. The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to invite R01 applications on the influence and intersection of sex and gender in health and disease including: (1) research applications that examine sex and gender factors and their intersection in understanding health and disease; and (2) research that addresses one of the five objectives from Strategic Goal 1 of the new 2019-2023 Trans-NIH Strategic Plan for Women's Health Research" Advancing Science for the Health of Women." The awards under this FOA will be administered by NIH ICs using funds that have been made available through the Office of Research on Womens Health (ORWH) and the scientific partnering Institutes and Centers across NIH.

Funding Opportunity PAR-22-253 from the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts. This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites applications from eligible research institutions to seek funds to develop or renovate research facilities that support HIV/AIDS research in areas of basic, translational, clinical, and social and behavioral science research. Targeted are institutions that serve underrepresented and underserved populations or that are in Institutional Development Award (IDeA)-eligible states. Research-intensive institutions are not eligible. The facilities must support research aligned with the NIH-established priorities for HIV/AIDS research. Any request must be justified by current and anticipated future research needs.

Funding Opportunity PAR-23-031 from the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts. The objective of this FOA is to encourage optimal utilization of large domestic animals in high-priority areas of biomedical and agricultural research. This initiative is designed to facilitate and encourage carefully designed research studies through meticulous selection of farm animals that mimic human developmental, physiological, and etiological processes to better understand the biology of normal reproduction and reproductive pathophysiology, normal and abnormal metabolism, developmental origin of diseases, precision nutrition, and improve prevention and treatment of diseases in both human and agriculturally important domestic farm animals. The anticipated outcomes include both the elucidation of fundamental information relevant for the improvement of human health and an increase in the quality of healthy animal products. It is envisioned that each application will address mission-relevant areas of both agencies.

Funding Opportunity RFA-DA-23-030 from the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts. This R34 Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) seeks applications with limited scope proposing a set of planning activities that will lay the groundwork for a scientific project aimed at integrating complementary theories and methods to 1) develop, validate and apply cutting-edge tools and methods for minimally invasive, multi-dimensional, high-resolution measurement of behavior at the level of the organism, with synchronous capture of changes in the organisms social or physical environment; and/or 2) develop computational methods that allow for integration of multidimensional behavioral and environmental datarepresenting multiple timescales into a conceptual and/or computational model of behavior as a complex dynamic system, designed with the capacity to integrate synchronously recorded neural data and/or inform existing models of neurobehavioral function, such as those developed with the support of the NIH BRAIN Initiative. The purpose of this R34 funding opportunity is to support planning and development of the research framework, design, and approach, including activities that will establish feasibility, validity, and/or other technically qualifying results that, if successful, would support a competitive application for a U01, R01 or equivalent NIH research award.

Funding Opportunity RFA-HD-23-022 from the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts. The Eunice Kennedy ShriverNational Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) invites center applications for the Learning Disabilities Research Centers Program, hereafter termed LDRCs. The LDRCs initiative focuses on generating new scientific knowledge to inform understanding of specific learning disorders (SLDs) and comorbid conditions through synergistic, integrated, team-based transdisciplinary science. This funding opportunity announcement invites both foundational and translational, transdisciplinary research addressing the definition, classification, etiology, diagnosis, epidemiology, early identification, prevention-based approaches, and remediation of children, adolescents, or young adults identified with or at risk for SLDs in component oral language abilities, reading, written expression abilities, mathematics and relationships among these SLDs and other disabilities and co-occurring or comorbid conditions. The LDRCs provide a unique platform to engage with external research and community members in purposeful, sustained bidirectional communication and provide career enhancing opportunities for early career investigators expanding their reach and impact.
