See how the University Libraries helps support UA research authors.
Have you ever wanted to publish a research piece in an Open Access Journal but lacked the funds to do so? If so, we have some good news! The University of Arizona Libraries and the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Discovery have partnered to create a fund that covers author fees for UA researchers.
The pilot project has allocated $30,000 to be dedicated to University of Arizona faculty, researchers, staff, post-docs, and students hoping to publish a peer-reviewed article in an open-access journal. The funds allots charges up to $3,000 per article. Once your article has been accepted for publication, apply online. A faculty advisory board reviews and determines awards.
